Hi I’m Abtin.
I grew up in Richmond Hill (Toronto). My parents have owned an operated a pet store since I was 6 years old (used to be a gas station!).
I fell in love with my built environment when I was like 6 thanks to my dad. Before the pet store & gas station he was a automotive mechanic and graduated undergrad as a mechanical engineer (but never practiced).
Now I live in San Francisco and work with the most brilliant engineers and creatives I’ve ever met. Most of what I do these days falls under the umbrellas of industrial design, storytelling, prototyping, R&D, and engineering.
A lot of what I know came from the internet, self directed play, and lots of kind and helpful people along the way.
