Hi I’m Abtin.

I grew up in Toronto. My parents have owned an operated a pet-store/gas-station since I was 6 years old. my dad helped me to fall in love with my built environtment. he used to be a mechanic and graduated undergrad as a mechanical engineer. He never practiced.

I live in San Francisco and work with the most brilliant engineers and creatives I’ve ever met. I was the founding hardware engineer at UNISON, Inc. and subsequently Impossible, Inc. Now I do independent electro-mechanical research with the goal of making drifting 10x cheaper.

Everything I know came from the internet, self directed play, and lots of kind and helpful people along the way.
